License terms

Creator license terms

A plain-language overview for DSIV music licenses. The final checkout record, invoice, product details, and delivered license packet should be treated as the controlling purchase record.
01

Standard creator use

A DSIV Creator License is intended for the buyer's own online creator projects, music videos, social content, podcasts, artist promos, and similar digital releases tied to the purchased track. Ask DSIV Music before purchase when a client, brand, sponsor, or paid campaign is involved.

02

What the customer receives

Shopify Digital Products emails the files attached to an eligible digital product after checkout. Keep the order confirmation, product details, delivered files, and any written DSIV approval with the finished project.

03

Uses that need approval

Ask DSIV Music before purchase for broadcast, film, TV, paid advertising, games, large campaigns, resale, sample packs, NFT use, AI-assisted use, training or dataset use, redistribution, or any request for exclusive ownership.

04

Ownership and exclusivity

A standard purchase grants usage rights for the project. It does not transfer copyright, publishing, master ownership, or exclusive control unless a separate written agreement says so.

05

Credit and metadata

Where credits or cue sheets are available, use the track title and DSIV Media credit from the product or delivered metadata. Contact DSIV for publisher, PRO, broadcast, film, TV, or paid-placement reporting details.

06

When in doubt

If the project has a sponsor, client, paid media, broadcast distribution, or a rights request not stated on the product page, send the project details before purchase.

07

Project boundary and upgrades

Keep the order reference, checkout record, invoice, and license packet with the finished project. If the project later expands into client transfer, paid media, broadcast, film, TV, games, app use, or a request for exclusivity, send the new project details before release.

08

AI-assisted use

This page does not grant AI-assisted, training, or dataset use. Send the project details before placing DSIV audio, stems, loops, metadata, or delivery files into an AI tool, training process, or dataset.
